NASA spacex crew 9 docks to the ISS

NASA SpaceX Crew-9 is now on the international space station! The Dragon’s Freedom spacecraft successfully docked to the ISS on September 29 Sunday at 5:30 p.m. EDT (2130 GMT) reported space.com. The hatches between the two spacecraft were opened around 7:15 p.m. EDT (2315 GMT), after which the astronauts on the ISS carried out welcoming remarks. The docking was live-streamed by NASA on YouTube.

The crew-9 mission was launched from a new launch pad, Space Launch Complex-40, at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida on September 28 around 1:17 p.m. EDT.

The mission primarily focuses on bringing back NASA astronauts Sunita Williams and Butch Williams, who are currently stuck on the ISS.
